V-neck or regular? I've always worn regular white t-shirts until recently I was told v-necks were the way to go when not wearing a tie

Regular with shirts you're going to button all the way up, ie wear a tie with

V neck if you're going to leave the top button undone

Comes and goes with the generally accepted fashion trend. I think excess fabric looks cheesy and if you can control your perspiration that no undershirt is even necessary.

I don't really get the point of A-shirts. I mainly wear t-shirts to keep pit sweat and deodorant off my shirts. It seems like a tank-top like shirt wouldn't really do anything about that.

I typically wear them under polo's here and there. Depends on the shirt really.

i wear undershirts because fat people sweat. My nipples also like to get hard at random times so it helps hiding those as well.

I never wear undershirts because I never sweat, they bunch up, and I hate being warm. People point out the fact that I never wear them. Fuck em. V-necks are hideous. I don't understand how they are so popular right now or ever.

I have very low body fat and don't sweat excessively but I still wear a v-neck undershirt beneath all of my dress shirts to work (I hardly ever wear polos to work). Even without sweating excessively the dress shirts don't smell that fresh after one wear this time of year. With using undershirts I can wear the dress shirt multiple times and save the fabric from being overwashed (and wearing out faster) and save having to re-iron a shirt after one wear.

I'm wearing a polo with regular undershirt right now. I've never heard the concern of not wearing an undershirt because "I don't want to remove another shirt after I take my polo off"... you know, you're allowed to take 2 shirts off at once
