Dear Heavenly Father,

Please don't ever let me become so lazy that I pay people to do my lawn for me.

Sincerely Yours and Amen,

i have much better things i'd rather be doing with my time.

it's not that i'm lazy, i just don't see why i must spend an afternoon cleaning up my lawn on a weekend where i could be out somewhere instead if i have the means to do so.

I hate the thought of doing yard work. I don't mind doing it. I like the end result.

As it is, this time of year I'm not home much during daylight so I am seriously thinking of paying someone to do it for me.

I don't mind mowing. I just pop in the headphones and listen to music, a podcast, or an audiobook.

But if I could pay someone 12 bucks to do the 15-20 minutes of weedeating I have to do every week I totally would.

I've got enough character. I don't mind paying someone to build their character doing my yardwork.

I'm not as proud of my yard if I cheated and let someone else do it for me.

Its all about the available time. I love putzing around the house, doing yardwork, that sort of thing. But when you're busy with other stuff, you have to prioritize where time goes, and if you have a big yard it can be a huge time drain. It takes me 1/2 a day to get my front/back yard mowed, trimmed, and deal with the pine cones/needles/branches that fall.
