Going to be in Charlotte this weekend and want to see the fireworks show over Memorial Stadium. No stadium seating will be available due to construction so outside of sitting on the grass (with no alcohol) is there a better place (with alcohol) to see the show? Im thinking like a rooftop bar or something.

this must be the waXXXXX thread

tops of buildings will be good, most bars with roof decks arent more than 2-3 stories

We just stayed at aloft at the epicenter thursday night for my boy's bachelor party.. I don't know for sure but I'd be willing to bet that place will have a pretty dank fireworks show

But if you know someone with a boat the best answer to this question is queen's landing in lake norman

I'm leaving Charlotte to not see the fireworks.

If you want a good view the Hawthorne bridge over independence is a great place to see them. They now shoot them off from independence arena which isn't really uptown.
