Hampton here.

Joe and I are going to a July 4 party tonight and Joe told me it was unamerican to not eat a hamburger, steak, or any other kind of meat on July 4. I was raised into a vegetarian family and have been my whole life.

Joe became one two years ago when I moved in as a personal challenge to get healthy. Well tonight he's breaking his two-year streak and told me I should give meat a try. I'm considering giving it a try, but would imagine my body won't react to it well. I'm trying to decide if I want to try chicken or beef. I don't think I can bring myself to try pork.

If you've never eaten meat before this probably won't go too well.

But anyway, if you do end up having a burger, throw some bacon on there for good measure. Be sure to put plenty of cheese, some lettuce, tomato, onion, and ketchup.

- white castle cheeseburgers
- chinese food
- taco bell

yeah, that's something that is interesting.

however, imo someone like that should have a steak to get a real feel for the texture and taste... preferably medium-rare

i like veggie burgers

but not the kind that try to taste like meat

like why can't you just be a veggie burger? spinach burger. black bean and corn burger. etc. mmmmmm.

i like those flavors. if you don't eat meat why are you trying to eat a burger that is trying to taste like meat?

i just have never gotten it at all. the fake meat burgers are kinda gross (to me).

I knew there were other reasons I liked that dude. I try to remind myself every few years of foods I don't like, to make sure I still don't like them.. goes along the same lines of try it again, the most recent time may have just been bad.

Everyone says a steak cooked properly is the best meat. However I have tried it several times and just can't make myself even begin to like it. Hamburgers can be OK but I still don't actually like them. I just think they are better than steak.
