i think you are thinking of brats

hotdogs totally = chili, yellow mustard (i'll give you spicy too, i dig spicy) and slaw. and onions. PERIOD.

^^ that is my fav (topping wise, the red dogs aren't my fav but i will eat them)

but sometimes i also add slaw if i'm in the mood

i like nathans. omnomnom

and hebrew national omnomnom

but i'll also eat a ball park

or a bright leaf. i mean whatev.

Beef. Specifically, Nathan's, or something with a natural casing (love the snap).

Nathan's--mustard and relish or mustard and sauerkraut. Should be good deli mustard. Their dogs are too garlicky for the southern topping profile to work well.

natural casing--chili, mustard, onions. Maybe slaw if I'm in the mood, maybe not.
