any got any good sites/places around raleigh?

i have a joe namath signed football with certificate of authenticity and some Daytona 500 souvenir packs (not sure these are worth anything, especially since the packaging was manufactured poorly and won't stay closed)

i've posted them on craigslist with no takers. don't care for ebay

I know its obvious and I'm not being sarcastic, but ebay is pretty good (especially if you've got the COA). I've got no idea on value or anything like that though. I used to sell/buy (mostly buy) some baseball cards and other memorabilia on ebay. I think if you take that stuff to a dealer you're not going to get a great price on it...because, obviously, he's trying to resell it. But if you're selling it directly to a collector they'd be willing to pay a little more money. And on ebay you can always hope that a few big time Namath fans get into a bidding war or something...

For cards like that, honestly, I'd just see what I can get at the flea market. If anything.

Honestly, I'd not even bother selling something a living athlete signed. There's going to be eleventy billion more of those on the market before he's dead. Wait till the supply becomes scarce when he dies.
