Melody...probably one of my first big crushes as an adolescent...along with Kelly Kapowski of course. Damn you Ben Stiller:

just b/c you liked something as a kid doesn't mean its good

kids are retards

if you watched almost any of these nostalgia-soaked shows for the first time today, you'd think they were dog shit

and if you watched most of them today, even while jerking-off the past/hating your present, you'd turn the channel

unless you're still a retard, or a child, which again, are synonymous

^ Truth.

I've watched a bunch of shows on Netflix that I used to love as a kid, and now I think they're dog shit.

Save yourself the pain and do not watch this shit.

Fuck yessssssssssssssss.

I already own Clarissa Explains it All and Adventures of Pete and Pete on DVD.

^I downloaded Ghostwriter and still like it as an adult...I just think the kids are dumb for not figure out fast enough. Clarissa Explains It All is totally awesome and I would seriously watch now if it came on tv.

Tomorrow People was one of my faves as a kid, but I would watch anything that was remotely sci-fi, super-powered, etc..

Pete & Pete still holds up because it's goddamn brilliant, the cameos are tip-top, and the music is wonderful.

The rest of them are pretty bad.

agreed.

but 99% of kids shows are at best dull and at worst fucking stupid.

people worshiping their youth drives me crazy.
