I had someone write to me and say they

"had the worse service"

I know worst is a better word-choice than worse in this case, but is worse an acceptable word to use?

Was he referring to two different instances of the same service?

"Between my experience and his experience, I had the worse service."

"Angelo Moore
Yesterday night was the worse service I have had since I've been in virginia. It took over 30mins for a steak and cheese sub. He didn't refill my drink. Heck. He didn't even acknowledge I was at the bar. The excuse was he was not having a good night. I was and still am pissed."

He called the next day and a girl answered the phone while I was away and she told him "I was not have a good night" which she has no idea what was going on because she wasn't there.

I'm about to reply:

Quote :
"All Around had the "worse" customer it's had since it has opened its door in Virginia in 2007. It took over 30 questions for this customer to order a steak sub when the answers were on the menu. The drink didn't get refilled because he was not sitting at an appropriate space at the bar, but instead pushed all the signs next to the register back and made himself a spot regardless of the two empty seats on the other side of his companion. A sample of the questions the customer asked were "How big is a footlong?" and "how big is half? and after signal faded on his phone he asked me "Hey do you have problems with your phone?" when clearly I'm cooking and not using a phone. Customer got mad that his food came out last but was watching us cook the entire time and knew that the meat was in the oven. We were able to finish all the other orders within that time span and all the other customers got their food first. Customer also pushed the door open violently on his exit and asked me to suck his big black c*ck. We hold nothing against him and he's welcome to come back to All Around, but please show some customer etiquette. "

Superlative should be worst.

Your reply seems like a dick move if it's your friend. This isn't a restaurant review or anything, is it?

[Edited on July 15, 2011 at 2:07 PM. Reason : oh, that's right you own a pizza joint. Still seems like a dick move if you're being professional.]

I'd rethink your reply if this is going on Yelp or something. It's better to be gracious, and you don't come off looking like an asshole to potential customers.

I'm sick of it being okay for customers to have this type of behavior.

The word "customer etiquette" doesn't even exist in America and I wouldn't even know how to begin to teach it to people.

That's understandable, but lashing out at someone even if you feel like you're just standing up for yourself won't do you any good. At best, it'll be a he-said/she-said thing, and at worst, you come off looking like an asshole who excuses poor service with recriminations.

you cook the meat for a steak and cheese in the oven?

30 minutes for a steak and cheese is indeed excessive

Who give a shit if the customer wants to move some stuff and sit by the register?
If you didnt want him sitting there dont put a stool in front of that spot.

Who cares how stupid the customer's questions were? If they are that obvious, it shouldnt be hard for you to answer them

But yes, send a scathing review about a customer, see how far that gets your business

dumbass

If you don't believe it's a real reason, ask him why his friend got refills.

might be a "real reason" but its a bullshit reason

if i were the customer and said "may i please have a refill" and you said "no you are not at an appropriate bar space" i probably wouldve told you to fuck off and walked out

why did you give him his first drink if he wasnt at an "appropriate space at the bar"

You're a terrible troll. That doesn't even warrant a reply, but I'm giving you one anyway.
If I put a seat in front of a toilet, are you going to eat there?

Wouldn't you agree that you could have chosen to refill his drink?

You can't change your customers; you can only change how you act and respond to them.

Maybe a better course of action would be to get one of your regular customers to write a more positive review?

Good. You're ignorant for sitting there in the first place. Use your brain and you may get the respect you deserve.

You cant be pretentious about your customers when you run a low quality pizza joint that delivers beer.

Open a restaurant that takes reservations and then you can be picky about your client base.

Maybe you should worry about finishing your website rather than taking out personal vendettas against a customer who willingly gave your business money.

and your prices are obsurd for the shit that you serve.

You know, if customers treated servers HALF as good as servers are expected to treat their guests,

going out to eat would be a lot more pleasant for EVERYBODY involved.

I'd be more concerned with the fact that someone thinks your service is shitty.

Which by the sounds of it, is, if you think you can shit on customers.

Well, of course, man. How often do you get a customer like this dude though? Seems like you're getting yourself worked up over something that was dumb but minor. Assholes gotta eat, too.

Calling out a pizza joint for serving beer is silly. I think most non-franchise place serve beer. E.g. Ruckus, Lilly's, etc..

Is that a common thing? If I get indigestion from pizza, it's because of grease or lactose in the cheese. What kind of motherfucker can't handle pizza sauce? Not hating on you, just trying to imagine the sort of weak individual who has trouble with red sauce.
