I never answer my phone at work. My VM light has been on for so long I'm surprised it hasn't burned out.

I actually plug mine in to a 2.1 speaker system so when it rings it RINGS

I do my best to remember to turn the ringer off/down when I get to work. If my friends all had day jobs and didn't feel like 2:00 was a great time to text me 8 times, it wouldn't be such an issue.

heh.

our phone system at work is integrated with MS communicator, so whenever my phone rings, a new communicator window pops up with the call information and it plays a ring over the computer's speaker system.

this is rather inconvenient when i am listening to music

I have had my phone on silent or vibrate since the day I bought it. You fucking people need to be more considerate.

^ I share this sentiment.

My phone never leaves "silent" mode. Less of a distraction, less of an annoyance, and saves battery.

Idont think it saves battery, I think vibrate uses more battery.
