While we're on the subject, is there a way to scroll through the other messages? I feel like I'm always missing the context of the conversation.

^^ if you haven't already, go to settings > homepage layout > move 'chatter history' to one of the used panes on the homepage.
Currently, there is no way to scroll through the chatterbox. However, this will give you more than 5 messages.


^^^ Not that my opinion matters, but... I think it's already a big enough problem when people copypasta the chatterbox and paste it into the forums because 1) it's giving a premium feature which people pay for away for free and 2) people rely on chatterbox contents going away with time. It would be a mistake making it easier to chronicle the contents of the chatterbox in it's entirety.

This. While I agree with BHS about a expanded history there should also be some sort of punitive action taken on those who copy paste from the chatter box.
