I've been going to dog parks for a couple years now. A few weeks ago a man came into the dog park in greenville (on his cellphone of course), got upset that my dog was playing with his dog, and then said he was going to "kick the shit" out of my dog.

After explaining that my dog wasn't biting, he asked if we would rather he shoot my dog because... he was a cop.

What an upstanding public servant right there.

So some new dude has been showing up at the park the same time as me. He has some pit looking mutt that has some serious aggression issues. I feel like as soon as they show up, dog fights start up, and the owner just yells, "Oscar! Oscar! Oscar!" It's seriously every 5 minutes or so from the moment they show up. Last night I saw a dude wrestle Oscar to the ground because he was seriously fucking up another dog and then basically throw the dog to his owner. You'd think the owner of Oscar would have learned by now that Oscar doesn't want to be around other dogs

some dogs just don't do well around submissive dogs, especially when in a pack (my dog is one of those)


that is why I'm glad Carolina Pines has the smaller runs that I can let my dog out in and he will still run up and down the fence, and usually someone will come in and bring their dog in to play with mine (usually their dog has the same problem with the pack, but with 1-2 other dogs is fine)

Then this woman brings over her scottie that immediately starts acting aggressive with our dog. THEN she says, "Oh yeah I brought him over here because he kept biting dogs on the big dog side."

Be careful referring to an aggressive dog as a Pit Bull mix around here. People will start posting pictures of their dogs that may or may not even have any Pit in them and talking about how great they are at babysitting or something stupid like that. I imagine them going all "LEAVE BRITNEY ALONE" while they make those posts.

Frankly, I don't think I should have to give rational to someone who knows me as to whether or not I am an asshole...

But I have told someone that if their dog with known behavioral issues bites my puppy again I will call animal control out there and have it removed, and that if it bites me I will put it down on the spot.

Couple other instances where I have simply told people not to come back because their dogs suck.

They haven't.
