Wow, this was totally me at the end of my marriage. Bitch got so crazy & suspicious that I started lying about EVERYTHING just to try to skirt any arguments. I hated being able to lie so easily (it really does suck to be an awesome liar) but the bitch really did lose her mind.

Your guy definitely has a reason to lie and it's definitely not a good sign for your relationship. Protect yourself before it gets worse.

Probably. I'm insane. It's more this terrible fear of being alone.
I mean, there are some times where I can understand why I guess, he would rather lie than offend someone, but then it turns to saying really stupid shit, and being female, I have a knack for finding things out.

Basically everything ^^^ said. If I went to work, she would question me about who I saw. If I didn't get home 10 minutes after work, I must have gone somewhere. If I went to hang out with friends, I must have really gone to see a girl. She literally just lost it. She became convinced that I was depressed and needed help (I was seeing a shrink already to help me de-stress and he thought she was crazy too, he actually congratulated me after we split up and 4 meetings later asked what I needed him for now that she was gone. The girl I married was awesome and I still love her but the girl I divorced is a psychotic evil cunt and it was far easier to lie about something than to sit and argue with her that I did actually work an hour over or that I really did just hang out at the bar for a couple of hours shooting pool. It was easier to convince her that lies were the truth than for to actually believe what really happened.

Regardless, that really has nothing to do with your relationship. As someone that has that same ability, there is no reason whatsoever to use it with someone that you love and trust. If he's doing it, something is wrong. If you've confronted him about it and he still does it, something is seriously wrong. Just make sure you don't sit around waiting for it to change because it isn't going to by itself. Either you have to discuss it and try to fix it, or discover what's going on in his head that he doesn't trust you (and yes, if he's lying to you about simple stuff, he doesn't trust you).
