Their idea is that people are only occasionally in the market for these items so if you always have a sell, they won't notice it. They will just be like hmm i need a suit, O LOOK THERES A SELL TIME TO BUY ONE.

make sure you budget some $$ for a tailor.

They pretty much default to assuming everyone who wears their stuff is fat.

If you're not, you gotta get that shit tailored to fit a normal sized person.

yeah, i should say i don't own any of their suits, but the one time i tried a few on when i was suit shopping, the suits that met my measurements drowned me with way too much extra material meant to be filled in by backfat and a beergut.

i ended up getting my last suit at the brooks brothers outlet.

The couple of dress shirts i've bought from jos. a. bank had to be taken in at the sides, but after that they're pretty good shirts.

I have to go with a Calvin Klein or Boss to get the right cut usually and I've got one or two super nice suits of not department store brands as well back when I knew of a good haberdashery.

If I ever get some good disposable income I plan on getting a fully tailored suit or two.

The one time I bought suits there I got a great deal, and for the most part they fit right, but I was told I would have to get something tailored for it to fit properly over my pecs. I'm not trying to sound like I'm built or anything; it made me wonder if their suits were for only ultra skinny or average gut people. I guess it's the latter.

I don't wear suits that often. Maybe a couple times a year. I have one navy blue business suit for interviews. One charcoal gray suit for weddings. A blue blazer for casual wear. If you aren't working at a bank or in sales, what do you need all these suits for?
