I'm not a fan of the "college" Halloween thing, but the "youngish adult" halloween scene is still a lot of fun. one of our friends has a halloween party every year we go to and it's fun.

I feel like GoldenGirl spearheads this thread every year...posts pictures of dozens of cliched, slutty Halloween costumes, asks us what we think of them (newsflash...a slutty girl scout costume is the same a slutty policewoman/sailor/captain morgan/etc costume) then picks one of the more boring ones.

Rinse and repeat...except it gets started earlier every year.
