I found a ton of stuff over there earlier..I'm not really into comics but I grabbed a lot of the different posters.. I also found a box of hand drawn pieces and all signed and dated from the early 90s

Donate them to who? These aren't clothes or canned food. The effort required to sell them would offset any profit.

There were literally thousand of boxes of comics in that store. The owner took what he wanted and moved it to the other store, then called a bulk dealer. The bulk dealer spent three days moving a box truck full of long boxes to his storage space, then had to leave the rest because he was going home. With all that done, there was still a dumpster's worth of stuff in the back room. Building had to been empty, so they emptied it.

i rolled by there an peeped in

looked like 1990s shit in the middle of the "let's print variants of everything" that caused the market to crash

that crap is better off in the dumpster because there's no shortage of it... there must have been hundreds of the same copies of "death of superman", valiant press and x-whatevers scattered all in there

It's my understanding that they were big believers in the deals that labels did like, "Order 100 copies of X-Force #100, get one copy of ultra-rare foil variant!"

But now he's got 81 copies of X-Force #100.

@Marko

probably 50% of the stuff brought home yesterday was damp..set up everything to dry though..probably have about 50 posters and most were still rolled and in a protective plastic - the folder with all of the hand drawn pieces was the neatest thing left out there they were all hand drawn and dated

I guess I missed out. I wouldn't have been looking for anything of value, just lots of crappy books to read through.

Wish I'd seen this, would have gone scavenging.

After all the rain though and a day later, I think I'll pass.
