A girl in the office asking someone else how to changetje indent in word. I was walking by and instinctively said alt+F4. The person she asked agreed with me. Lulz ensued.

Now how many of you tried alt+f4?

I rearranged the keys on a few coworkers' keyboards to make the home row say Fuck You!

the old and always reliable - screen shot someone's window arrangement, and make set that image as their desktop background image.

you can get these little gizmos that will randomly emit a high pitched sound. Get one and hide it in their cube/office. They will go insane.

remove ethernet cable from wall jack. Cover RJ45 connector with scotch tape. plug ethernet cable back in to wall jack.

wait...

wait...

Tape the hang-up buttons on their landline phones down...they pick it up but it doesn't stop ringing

Tape over the laser on the bottom of the mouse...mouse won't work

I used to trip people when they walked by. One day someone broke their tooth and had to go to the hospital. It was hilarious.

scotch tape on the spray nozzle at the breakroom sink

fill hardhat with water and place in freezer

turn off elevator breaker while they're between elevations

dead snake across the steering wheel of their truck

email love notes to their boss when they screw up and leave their computer unattended and unlocked

"test" the eyewash stations every time you walk by one so the operator has to keep resetting the flow alarms

etc.

Usually just alt+tabbing between active windows is enough to impress your avg American

Do you know how much corporate time is wasted by an unreasonable amount of reliance on the Microsoft GUI by your average nice set of tits that can't use a computer?

I call it the GUI:tits index.

Usually I am the one that ends up sucking those tits though. So I really owe it to Microsoft.

Annoytrons... at a random frequency and a random interval of time. You can get them on think geek I think, and they're magnetic, so my friend used to stick it on the bottom of his door. It's brilliant.

^ That's brilliant, but terrible.

I like to delete people's recently modified files. Usually sorting by date allows you to see what you should consider deleting first.

One of our secretaries who had been at my old company for a long time was crying in the break room one day and nobody wanted to go in there because we were all wondering what was going on and if she was gonna go home or something with the family emergency.

Earlier in the day I had played a prank on her by unloading her stapler (stupid I know)

it was mostly because I wanted her to come over and ask me for staples because she was hot

Well anyway, she was crying so I went in to ask her what was wrong and her sister had called her to tell her that her dog had run out in the street and died.

Well anyway I gave her my condolences and then told her thanks for ruining my fucking prank so I have to go reload her stapler now.

bitches

Not really a prank but one of my computers at work has a ticking fan that I've gotten used to and tune out and it is quiet enough that most people don't immediately notice it. So when new people come by to ask a question before I respond I usually pause and then point out the ticking sound...then when I turn around to dig for a file/document/schematic that they are curious about it's quiet and the ticking noise starts driving them nuts.
