If you supposedly can never completely get rid of blood, then why does Dexter always use the same set of knives/blades/hatchets? I mean I know they look bad ass but if someone found them (which that may be enough right there) the nail in the coffin would be all the blood found on the blades (I mean he is a damn blood analyst). That is unless you can clean blood off of steel with something like acetone, However with the high carbon content, I would imagine the knives would get ruined quickly using anything like acetone.

I watch it, but Dexter is not believable. They've found his killrooms and never found any evidence. I call bullshit there.

But for blood cleanup... there are enzymes that can clean blood up, that crime scene cleaners use. I'm sure he can get some of that.

And in terms of his blood rooms... yeah, it's not hugely believable that he's able to leave without a trace, but it's explained how he's been able to perfect his science over years and except in very few cases, he leaves plenty of time before and after each kill to clean.
As Elise said, if he had access to an autoclave, he'd probably be fine.
