i guess it depends on the average age of the people at the parties...if it's a party full of a bunch of 21 year olds a 35 year old would be a little weird...but if a party with a bunch of people 31 then a 35 year old would not be out of place in the least bit.

Depends on your definition of "party".

I think it mostly depends on how long you can maintain a sufficient number of friends to go out with you. Inevitably, more and more of your friends finally grow up, get boring, get soft, get married, etc.


I will say that I still have nights where I rage just as hard as I generally did in college...it's just that those nights are WAY WAY fewer and further between.

as long as you have your shit taken care of (bills, mortgage, kids if you have them, work, etc) I say do whatever the fuck you want with your free time. Party dont stop just because its time to buy a new Cute Pugs calendar fools.

Also depends on where you are... if there is a lot going on you will probably go out a lot. I probably go out an average of 4 nights a week now and I'm 34

old people go out all the time. Maybe its just because i live in a rich town but old people have house parties more than any other age group and they also go out to the most expensive bars. Anytime a fancy steakhouse has a bar, old people will be hanging out there all the time. Think Sullivans and Angus barn turkey bar if you are in Raleigh. I'd say 40-65 party more than any other age group. They have plenty of money and they love to dress up and feel young.

I think the idea of "partying" changes with age, i mean i've been to plenty of birthday's, baby showers, 4th of July parties etc where i was still "partying", just not getting sloppy drunk
