i think some people have the mom hold the head with a single finger and then shop the rest (at least i know thats how one of my friends did it)

I was reading once about a lady who does infant photography(like just a couple days old) and they said that they keep the "sets" at really high temps and they also keep the mommy away because the mommies smell and the babies wake up thinking it's time to eat or be taken care of and then they can't get the pics but once they are asleep they are like little pliable dolls.
