I've been watching them too. Thanks Netflix
Much better than I expected or remembered from my limited exposure.

I'm only on about episode 85 of Voyager, but I really haven't had time to watch much over the past month. TNG I watched over the winter and spring from some downloads I had. I have all of DS9 on the computer but hope netflix will get it soon so I'll have better quality.

you are watching voyager and refuse to watch enterprise? enterprise wasn't as bad as it's reputation, and in fact it was quite a bit better than voyager.

DS9 will be available starting in October. That makes me very, very happy. Smath has been telling us for years that it's the best so it will soon be time to see if he is correct.

And NO The Inner Light is NOT the best TNG episode.

^It was a good episode... I'd rather see Best of Both Worlds (plus the follow up episode "Family.") Or Chain of Command.

I've always been a TNG fan, but I started watching DS9 this year since we finally got the DVDs

pretty great so far, even though I've only reached season 4

having it on Netflix will be convenient though

^^^ And THIS, boys and girls, is why Smath is awesome (among other things)! He knows what's up. And it isn't just my opinion. They did a poll some years ago during a Star Trek special or something like that asking people to pick their favorite episode from any of the entire collection and while The Inner Light was in the mix, The Best of Both Worlds was the clear winner. That said, I think The Defector is completely under appreciated. The ending is just so badass.

Worth Watching from TNG:

The Defector
Where Silence has Lease
Best of Both Worlds
Night Terrors
The Nth Degree
Up the Long Ladder
Q Who
Cause & Effect
Relics
Disaster
The Wounded
Booby Trap
The Pegasus
Conundrum
Peak Performance

Q is such a terrible character. Do not want.

I like the original series though - they have a Twilight Zone feel to them, just with a recurring cast.

I started watching ST:TNG, TOS, and DS9 (currently in season 2) via DVD on netflix last year, just realized a month or so they are available on instant watch...

Except for DS9

Hope they do come out with it soon, I need to drop the DVD disk option.

I have to say, and I'm sure I already have on here, but Relics is one of my favorites. It's so hard for me to come up with a FAVORITE, all of them make me so happy. So many memories of Sunday evenings with my brother watching TNG before bed... makes me all teary eyed.

Ending to DS9, which was essentially something like 7 episodes, was amazing. Much better than Voyagers deus ex machina.
