I rarely turn the tv in the bedroom on though. It's pretty much only used on lazy sunday mornings laying in bed with the old lady. 8/21/2011 12:52:47 PM

I want a bigger one because I can't read Netflix titles from my bed. But looks like that isn't going to happen. Maybe next year. 8/21/2011 2:10:30 PM

No. Maybe at some point but for now I don't think we would use one much. We have our two nice TVs in the downstairs living room and the bonus/media room. Then, in the exercise room we have a 32" LCD up on the wall that we got for free via a Rooms To Go deal. I can't think of much of a use for a TV in the bedroom for us. We usually read in bed before sleep and TV right before bed keeps me up anyway.

I had a TV in my room in high school, and I went to sleep with it on every night. After I got my first apartment, I didn't have one in my room and I found it a LOT easier to go to sleep very soon after I laid down on my bed.
I try not to watch too many shows/movies on my computer these days so my bed is still a place where I can go pass out quickly. 8/21/2011 2:25:56 PM

Ya, but it never gets turned on. It's a hold over from before when my roommate would monopolize the living room. Now, I do all my TV watching/gaming downstairs. 8/21/2011 3:23:05 PM

Yes, but rarely use it. I just put one in too...it's an old, cheap tv though. But this is the first time I've ever had a working tv in my bedroom (not counting my dorm room in college, obviously). I had a tv in my room as a teenager, but only for video games...it didn't have any cable or anything. 8/21/2011 8:32:29 PM

Not in this apartment, but I had one in my last apartment.
I miss it now that I don't work weekends. I'd love to chill in bed and watch some Bridezillas on a Sunday 8/21/2011 8:33:16 PM

Yes, but I want to take it out. I like very occasionally watching a movie in bed, and my boyfriend sometimes wants to watch a little TV before going to sleep, but in general I am against watching TV in bed. 8/21/2011 8:40:32 PM

we donated it 2 years ago and made a rule that there wouldn't be one for a full year - in our apt that is fully furnished there is one but it only gets 5 channels - we've turned it on once 8/21/2011 9:02:14 PM

Wow, this surprises me how few of you have tvs in your bedrooms. I've always had a tv in my bedroom. When I was in 3rd grade I got so fed up about never getting to watch what I wanted to because dad was always watching golf and mom was always watching soaps. So asked for a tv. They said no, but if I saved up my allowance I could buy one for myself. So, I did. I love watching tv in bed. Most of my tv time is spent in bed. And Brett and I bought ourselves a 40" for Christmas last year for our bedroom. 8/21/2011 11:47:51 PM

Keeping entertainment devices out of the bedroom is supposed to help you get to sleep faster. It definitely helped me. I had a tv in my bedroom until my first apartment out of the dorms. It used to take over an hour for me to fall asleep. Now it takes less than ten minutes. 8/21/2011 11:55:19 PM
