oh wow, I did not know about the uptown one.
"here" is NYC. There's at least two, and I don't like crowds so I won't be going to either. 8/23/2011 8:30:02 AM

I've never been to Dean & Deluca.
D&D was where a few characters on Felicity worked 8/23/2011 8:42:39 AM

Mmmm, I used to like getting random deli items from Dean & Deluca to snack on. It was really overpriced in Nagoya but worth the splurge for a taste of home. 8/23/2011 11:09:40 AM

Seriously thought the sandwich i'm describing is fantastic
Genoa salami, prosciutto, mortadella and cappicolla topped with FRESH fontina and FRESH mozzarella cheeses, tomato confit and drizzled with extra virgin olive oil. The ciabatta bread struggles to contain the flavor.
its $10 but there is easily $10 in cheese alone on the sandwich (nearly a whole motza ball)

mean panini.

these kinds of sandwiches are what keep me angry at my budget. I need to be on a budget to not overspend on such yummy choices. I think I would spend most of my money on good food and shoes. 8/23/2011 12:26:50 PM

How's that above sandwich a panini? I thought a panini was grill pressed or something. It looks delicious, but it also just looks like a sandwich on ciabatta bread. I've never been to a D&D but I used to walk past the one on Prince and Broadway almost daily. 8/24/2011 8:38:34 AM

yeah they're pressed usually... thats not my picture.
^^ That one looks like it was toasted in an oven but they usually have the panini press lines on the top.
