US News rankings are still well known for being poorly executed and not particularly reflective of the institutions they claim to sample.

Nonetheless, these are very well known rankings, and the fact that we're that low is pretty pathetic. I mean we're the lowest ranked school in the ACC--fucking FSU is ranked higher than we are. Duke and UVA are top 25, UNC is 30, and we're 111?

That's just bad.

From everything I've heard about these rankings they aren't put together very well, but it looks bad for those outside the university looking in. Hopefully the new administration works to get State more favorably placed asap.
