WARNING: the story is long and rambling, but if you hate customer service assholes, liars, and all that stuff... maybe you should read it. I had been reading about an old trick online for years, but was always scared to use it since i've been charged with extortion for less -- but it was't cyberstalking!I've been at war with a company for a while... particularly with their shitty customer service people, their lies, and the dirty tricks they use. (i know the tricks came from middle management probably, these normal people are way too dumb.)If they don't know an answer, they make it up. If they get called out for making stuff up, they lie. For the past 6 days, I've spent 45+ minutes a day on the line with them, "working this out" -- then they promise to talk to a boss and email you ASAP with info. The first 5 days, they email me back each night with no new info, and essentially resend most of the the email they sent me the first day. They blatantly won't give their names, they will not give out the number to the supervisor. And the worst part, THE PHONE NUMBER ON THE EMAIL IS ALWAYS THE SAME ONE I'VE CALLED 1003423 TIMES! So it finally drove me crazy last night, and I went online and found an email address that looked like it could belong to ANY managers, board members, tech officers, the VP, all those fucks.... and I wrote a huge rambling pissed off email about how I will die from a heart attack before they get out of fulfilling a 12 month warranty only 2 months in.it felt great, and i was over it... until like an hour ago my phone rang... A real number with an area code, not a PRIVATE call.. and, go figure, when I answered, the girl informed me that my email to all the suits pissed lots of people off (i don't care if it was me pissing them off, or their employee's bahavior). a "full technical and ethical inquiry" has been opened. i bet they're just fucking with me now, but i endorse the corporate email carpetbomb.

Dear sir, I can confirm that our customer retention team is working around the clock to fulfill your warranty. You should receive your new 60w light bulb within the next two business days. Again, we here at Philips are truly sympathetic towards your situation. We know that living without a properly functioning light bulb is unacceptable. Thanks,Management
