Need to mail the court back an excuse. Pretty much i have a job interview and possibly training that week. Would really fuck my chances if I was like "oh yeah i got jury duty" during the process so I want to get it postponed for a few months if possible.

Anyone pro excuses?

Just say you followed the Cooper trial in detail and think he got a raw deal. Or call the court and tell them you have an interview that day. They're usually willing to work with people for job reasons.

I ended up sitting on a jury because people in front of me "couldn't sit still for long periods of time"

Walk up to new job.
Show them jury duty proof.
Ask to move interview ahead.

Profit.

this worked in wake county:

Dear judge,

I will not be able to serve jury duty on {date whatever}. I will be out of the state and will not have access to transportation. Please excuse me from jury duty.

I'm amazed I've never been called for jury duty. Knowing my luck the time I'm called it will be for something boring like tax evasion.
