Naw these people are a serious nuisance. They hang around the stairwells doing drugs, drinking, and trashing the place. Whenever they have one of these parties I'm guaranteed to wake up to fast food wrappers, rib bones, used condoms, and other leavings in the walkways in and around our building. If you ask them to keep it down they just threaten to shoot you

I've considered doing that before

On nights when they've gotten really bad (fights, domestic abuse, etc) we've called the cops but Cary cops are worthless in these situations

The trash thing actually does annoy me.

In our case, I noticed that our neighbors weren't that bad. The worst offenders were their friends, and since their friends didn't live there, they didn't care about tossing trash. And nobody wanted to pick it up because it wasn't theirs. But once you get a little bit of trash, people are even more likely to add it. And it all gets very trashy until those guys come and pick it all up.

The main "bad" place in Cary that I know of is Pony Club Circle. It's a really recognizable street name, and it made it on to the news for crazy stuff like three nights in a row. So now it's filed away in my brain as dangerous.

The main problem in this complex according to police reports seems to be drug dealing, aggravated assault, stuff like that. Which really isn't that bad but it's annoying as hell when your downstairs neighbors are some of the main instigators

I've caught a guy who didnt leave here in our external stairway directly outside my door, my dog does not like getting surprised by strangers hiding in the dark so he left immediately

The Cary cops were decent about showing up when my ex-neighbors were yelling in the parking lot, but don't seem to give a damn about most anything else.

It helps me convince the boy we need a dog.
