I'm really hoping that involved a lot of spectral filtering that we're not seeing, or maybe the conversion of raw LIDAR data to a gridded DEM product. You know, something that would take me longer than 5 minutes to do.

well yes, i didn't start w/ four grids and make four plots. i was tasked with "hey make some plots of different resolutions of grid over this mountain for WRF, here's a link to WRF's website to get you stared".

the primary time sink that you're not seeing is me trying to do this in visit, which i did recently but could not do again. i have no idea what happened there.
