I don't understand those that booed Ron Paul either. He quoted Bin Laden who said, "we attacked America because they meddle in the Middle East holy lands and have been bombing Iraq for 10 years". Paul was saying we pretty much provoked Al-Qaida into attacking us, which I agree with.

Except that Ron Paul specifically said that, no, we should not let that person die. People should help him. He doesn't think the federal government should step in and pay for it, because it ends up causing more harm than good.

Even though I don't agree with his position on abortion, this is not an inconsistency.

I would like to see a healthier version of McCain as the next GOP candidate.

But Perry bugs me because he seems to only have the interest of big buisness in mind. Like the mandatory HPV vaccine, and he is a huge proponent of the "sonogram before abortion" bill which to a lot of people is an unnecesary increase in the cost of helth care.

It is clearly an opportunistic and unneccesary move. HPV vaccines are only needed by a fraction of the sexually active population, so why not just educate your sexually active young adults and let them decide. I am totally all for the vaccine, but this policy is overkill.

And NC already does hepatitis vaccines, and the HPV vaccine theoretically has benefits that far outweigh a hepatitis vaccine. I see no issue with him merely mandating it, but i do take issue if he did it for personal financial gain.
