Got a buddy who is looking for a color laser printer.
It needs to not have any issues or problems.
Needs to have a network card built in.
Looking to do best that he can with toner and drum life. And this is for his startup business so it will be getting a fair amount of use.

Of course he is not looking to spend a ton.
I sent Fregac an email about a week or so ago but, since I have not heard back, I am guessing he does not have anything at the moment.

So what is out there?

While I don't have any specific suggestions for you, look at OKI color lasers. We've recently started buying those instead of HP for color lasers and the results have been quite positive.

^^ can you find that model? I've been thinking about those samsungs for a while now. How do you feel about it versus a typical photosmart inkjet?

Most the person would use color for is marketing flyers and occasional brochures.

Looks like it pops up at $100-$130 pretty often.

I haven't printed with it yet, but on a price per page basis, its wayyyyyy cheaper than inkjets. I think the laser carts for this printer are rated for 7k pages...and they cost the same as inkjet cartridges. Reviews look solid.
