Bought new from HH Gregg about one year ago. It's been a great TV. The mirrors aren't perfectly aligned though you can't tell without a PC hooked up. This can be done for free (if someone wants to buy, I'd be glad to have them come out and calibrate the mirrors first; I had a guy come out to do it once but he didn't have the right stuff with him, it's been so negligible I haven't bothered since). It's still on its first bulb, going fine, and there's still about 2 years left on the warranty I bought with it (so, free bulb replacement and other in-home repair if needed).

Paid $1,000 for the TV and a 3-year warranty with HH Gregg. Hoping to get a few hundred out of it. If interested, make me an offer.

Great TV...I've got the exact same one. I'd think you could get more the $300 out of it, especially with the warranty.

Yeah, I'd like to get $500+, but I wouldn't mind a Lamborghini either. I figured I'd post it here just to give it a shot. I hadn't planned on going any lower than about $400, as I'd like to at least have a decent chunk for a new TV to replace it.

Well, I can give them a call. That's why I mentioned it in the OP. I wasn't going to do it without any serious bids though because I have to take time off of work to meet the guy at my place.

Doesn't sound like it's broken from the description. I'm sure if you were to really bid the $400 you mention (which you won't), he'd be happy to meet the guy who will come do the adjustment for free.

that's an assumption you're not going to get a chance to prove one way or the other, an opening bid of 250 is NOT an insult, I haven't been outbid, your tv requires maintenance, I'm not trying to be a dick, but for some reason, you are. keep your tv.

Woah big guy. I'm not selling the TV, Fry is. I'm planning on keeping my TV, but thanks for the suggestion all the same

(protip: look to the left of each post to see who is actually responsible for the content)

I could actually use another one of these so I'll bid $300

I am not buying the TV because synapse is an assertive person in matters that do not involve him...
blame him for me not buying it / continuing to bid.

and don't even begin to act like you'll actually buy his tv from him, you're just being a dick and boosting the bid to spite me. you could prove me wrong by winning the tv and actually buying it, but you won't do that.

I've bought and sold plenty on here - if I bid, I am serious. If I don't want something, I don't junk up their thread blathering.

well... this got outta hand. please take back and forth arguing to chit chat.

i'm looking for $400 OBO. the tv is NOT broken. in fact, it works great. i'm offering to have the guys come out and calibrate it to make sure things are lined up properly, because the last time i checked it it wasn't perfect. they might even be willing to go ahead and put a new bulb in it even though the current one looks fine to me.
