my so's roommate likes me, i think. i always invite him to eat with us when i cook and stuff like that, so i think we're cool. it doesn't seem to matter to my so, so i'm not real worried.

Been there, done that, bad situation. She effectively moved in (had her own place, across the fucking parking lot, but went there like 1x/week) but was not paying rent or utilities. Yet she watched our TV, used our power, water and internet, and cooked in our kitchen. Ended up kicking out the roommate to get rid of her.

It wasn't even that we hated her, or even disliked her, just that she never left and the roommate got defensive whenever it was brought up.
