http://raleigh.craigslist.org/cto/2645594762.html For sale is my 3 owner 84 F150. It just passed inspection easily. Clear title in hand. It is a great running truck that I have gone on 400 mile road trips with and it made it the whole way without a sweat. It has never let me down.
It has been a great truck to me. I have fixed it up over the 1.5 years that I have owned it. I have put more money into it than I'm asking, but that is the way with things and I enjoyed the project. I am selling it because I am looking to start a new project, an old LandCruiser.
84 standard cab F150 2wd 300ci straight 6, 166,000 miles. 4-On the floor manual trans. (Tremec) All gears work great and I get 20mpg highway. This transmission is much better and stronger than the mazda transmissions that came in later years.
New (within past year):
I swapped the whole ignition system over to a non-feedback Dura-Spark system that came off of an 83 f150. For those of you who know this is a desirable mod. The feedback carbs were full of problems and I swapped everything out to get rid of these problems. Truck is powerful with gobs of torque. Distributor Starter Belts Wipers Antifreeze Alternator non feedback carburetor Fuel line Front wheel bearings/rotors/pads Passenger side Ball joint (moog, best you can get) Axle Pinion Seal fuel filter air filter Brake Booster Master cylinder Spark plugs/wires New intake/exhaust gasket (mr. gasket) Steering column tach Fresh trans and diff fluid. Lucas in the trans. The whole exhaust system has been replaced, new catalytic converter too. I set it up as a side exhaust with a glass pack. Not too loud, just a nice rumble from the 'big block' straight 6.
I rigged up a manual choke on the truck, wasn't a fan of the electric. It starts up and gets me where I need to go no problems.
The truck has AC. I never tried it and took the belt off, I didn't worry about it the corner windows are awesome and keep you cool very well.
Warnings:
-you may acquire many new friends who want you for your truck and moving capabilities. -No one will cut you off ever. -Other f150 owners will be envious. -The Bench seat makes for a great Date truck. 10/12/2011 1:31:12 PM |

DEAL!
I am kidding, I am seriously interested in it. I have been looking for a cheap truck to use around my property. Wish it was 4WD though

It gets better mpg being 2wd, less stuff to break and can tow more. I have never needed the 4x4 but I don't offroad. 10/13/2011 1:37:28 PM |

Well I plan to use it on the farm so it will most likely get muddy. MPG means nothing to me
$1200 cash, I will pay the title transfer fee. I can pick it up this Sunday.
Assuming it runs

You're going to need more than 1200 if you want the truck. I don't understand what you mean by title transfer fee. The buyer always pays that.
The clutch is probably original it is still nice and tight and if you wanted to be a red neck and do a 1 tire fire you easily could. The vast amount of miles are highway and old man driven. I've had 3 people actually come out and see/drive the truck. They all like it. Waiting to hear back. I hope to have it sold by this weekend.
If you're interested bring more than 1200 with you and actually come and see/drive the truck.
Ps. Of course the truck runs. It runs well. Where in my ad do I say that it doesn't run?

a. just because you say in your ad that it runs, doesn't mean it does. b. i am clearly interested, so why are you being such a douche both here and via e-mail? c. $1350 CASH is as high as I will go. If it is "probably sold by tomorrow" as you said in your e-mail, then let me know. 10/13/2011 9:31:44 PM |

So if you assume that he is lying about it running why would you want to continue to show interest in the truck? What else could he possibly be lying about? I'm just sayin'...

^ you are an idiot. I am not calling him a liar, just saying that my offer is contingent upon a test drive. trolling Classifieds is pretty lame, bro. step your game up.

Your price via e-mail was $1400. Are we seriously at a stalemate over $50? Throw in some pine tree air fresheners and we can call it even
All jokes aside, I will go $1400 if it isn't sold by Sunday. Let me know
