i usually take my shoes off when i get home, but i've noticed if i keep my shoes on, my productivity goes up like 23%

i think it's because usually when i wear shoes i'm at work or out doing errands taking care of business. and when i get home i take my shoes off and relax

but if i keep wearing my shoes once i get home, my mind stays in TCB mode and thus productivity stays high

I never wear shoes inside if I can avoid it. Easier on the carpets, and more comfortable.

Regarding the OP: now that you mention it, I notice the same thing...but I think it's p'raps not that wearing shoes inside makes me productive so much as being productive warrants keeping the shoes on. Don't got tiiiiime to be stopping and tying erry time I come in and out if I'm on a roll
