Money, employment and marriage are overrated.

People threatening your life on internet forums is where it's at, man. I don't feel my day is complete without at least one threat. Today was no disappointment.

Probably would have had a much higher college GPA had a doctor not misdiagnosed a crushed artery and slipped disc as a possible brain tumor and sent me to specialists all through college. I really did not give a fuck about school as an undergrad.

I've done very well since then though.

if I had just studied harder for the LSAT in college I'd be graduating from a top law school this spring (all other factors were pretty solid). Instead I'll be graduating with two masters, which isn't bad but I'll probably end up in law school anyway and could have saved time/money but hopefully my degrees will contribute to a good legal career with the fed/jag by the time I'm 29 or so. time flies

AHA, ssjamind always has me LOLin!

But this question is impossible to answer. I coulda tried a little harder and gotten into a more prestigious school. And then got mixed up with heroin and ended up on Intervention. And they'd send me to this awesome rehab place where I randomly meet Sasha Obama who is there for an eating disorder. And we'd become best friends, and I'd meet the former president! And have a drug-fueled affair with Michelle, which gets me shunned. So I'd have to write a tell-all book about it as revenge. And I'd go on Fox News with my story, but I'd like nod off on heroin while Bill O'Reilly is screaming to cut my mic. And I'd spend all my book earnings on drugs and women. And when they reran my Intervention episode, they'd have to show the update: BridgetSPK relapsed in 2010. She is currently back on the street with her one and only companion, a blind three-legged pug named Bruno.

If I tried a little harder I would've applied for college of design at the end of my freshmen year. Not doing that has been my only regret. I wish someone would've told me that you would not get bored doing what you love as a job/career choice...that was my worry. But I was just too afraid of rejection after seeing some of the work by (what I thought) way more talented folks in my class.

However, not doing so has got me where I am now, and I love my life. Maybe that's something I'll explore again when it's time for me to return to work.

Probably a surgeon of some type. I love the concept of surgery and dream of being a surgeon, and still wish I hadn't quit med school after just 1 year.

This thread has issues. It doesn't really specify what you're trying harder towards.

If I had tried harder towards my career I would have moved to Los Angeles last May and attended every film festival to which my senior short film was accepted; thereby making film festival connections which would make it easier for my future feature-length films to be accepted and subsequently distributed.

But I can still do that later, and I value the relationship for which I stayed in Miami.

Until May.

Then I'm LA-bound.

I would have my P.E. already and probably own a (2nd) house by now... but i'm not in anyway ashamed of how i've lead my life... i've had a lot of fun and have a lot of memories i wouldn't have had i conformed harder.

The thing that really fucked me is the market crash and my downtown condo.

Probably would've already had product on the market, but I guess I can wait a little bit for that

Or I would've cleared my plate of these contracts and been able to focus my attention to R&D more

Maybe working on liquid body armor, but otherwise I'd be in about the same spot career wise

Kinda this...but moreso I know my passion, and I'd probably be living it out by now had I tried a little harder.
