I need to use the VGA connection on a TV for a computer that will be plugged into it at all times and for someone to hook up a laptop when needed.
What do I need? A KVM switch? VGA Switch? 10/17/2011 9:48:33 AM |

Sorry to confuse - I'm 99.9% sure that's what you need. Just don't try to run it over a 50 foot cable or something like that - higher resolutions will degrade because it's a passive switch. 10/17/2011 2:49:33 PM |

I have used a 20ft VGA cable into an old manual VGA switch. Worked fine up to 1440x900. 10/20/2011 3:38:06 PM |
