I can't think of chicks as cute anymore after having to kill them every day for a living two summers

^^I did that too, even baby chicks that were only several hours old...



and the difference here is chipmunks are cute during their entire life cycle- chickens and goats, not so much

Yeah sometimes we'd have to crack up eggs that hadn't hatched to confirm the embryo's size at death and if it was still alive when we cracked it open off with it's head!
