I have a Nikon Coolpix digital camera.
I have a hard time taking pictures because when I press the button to take a picture, there is a 1-2 second lag. If I don't hold my hands still for 1-2 seconds, the image comes out blurry. Likewise, if the person is moving while I'm taking a picture, they're blurry.
When I say blurry, I mean it records everything that happens within the lag time and the exposure represents everything that occurs within the lag time.
Is there a way to set the camera to have a near instantaneous shutter speed so that it's clear even when people are moving? 10/24/2011 9:51:36 PM |

Buy a better camera. Can't go wrong with any canon. 10/24/2011 10:30:28 PM |

Also, add some pizza grease on the lens to counter the blurriness.10/24/2011 10:41:31 PM |

You have a shitty camera. Unless you're shooting things in direct sunlight or with a flash, it's going to take a second to expose the image. Buy a better camera or deal with it dot gif. 10/25/2011 7:36:50 AM |

I can't speak from experience on this camera as I've never owned one, but "many" cameras have the following apply:
If you press the button down halfway, it'll auto focus for you. After it sets its focus, press the button the rest of the way down and it'll take the picture. If you just start by pressing the button down all the way, it tries to speed through the process and will often give a blurry pic.
Bad explanation that may or may not apply to your specific situation. Good luck! 10/25/2011 8:14:40 AM |
