Did anyone get a text?

My office is in Daniels, and we hear the sirens, but they're unclear. So we go outside to see what's up and we still can't understand WTF is being said. Just then a bunch of serious looking cops walk by and say there's nothing to worry about. Then class change occurs, and thousands of people are outside.

Then the all clear siren.

No WolfAlert texts.

If this had been a real threat, it would have been ugly.

By the way, there was an area roped off by police tape at the bottom of the stairs going into Caldwell and what appeared to be an unmarked car. There were about 15 officers who seemed to be not actively chasing anyone.

Armed robbery took place off-campus and the pursuit spilled onto North Campus just outside of Winston and Caldwell Hall. I was in the building and we saw the chase pass us through the window. Guy robbed Wells Fargo and tried to get away. Currently the area between Caldwell and Winston is being processed as a crime scene, but the all clear has gone off.

My concern was more that the alert was unintelligible, and a text would have been clear, but there was none sent as far as I can tell.

Did get a WolfAlert text at 5:15 am 3 weeks ago though.

Oh, just now got the WolfAlert all clear text.
