Most users of this message board made it into and through college, I think this is a safe bet more often than not. But IQ isn't the best indicator of how intelligently people behave which accounts for a lot of chit chat's very existence.

If it was self-applied, I'd agree that's a reasonable way to take it, but in this case my point is that the chit chatters are smarter than they look.
