It's funny... I'm pretty sure it's legal to walk around with a rifle as long as you're not "brandishing" it. Maybe it's different if you're within a certain range of a school. Gun folks - what say you?

uhh so what if the house I grew up in is a stones throw away from an elementry school? With more storage there I keep quite a few of my guns there.

18 USC 922(q) does not apply to private property, on-duty LEOs, firearms in locked compartments, educational displays, or in-state CCW permit holders (state law prohibits ccw on school property)
