OH WE BACK
Still working on this one right now. $2.88 each at Wal-Mart, of all places. One of the biggest pomegranates I've ever had.

I wish my parents' pomegranate trees produces. They are the lamest trees ever. I've thought about planting one in our yard but my husband doesn't like pomegranates
Has anyone tried the chocolate covered pomegranate seeds at Trader Joes? 11/7/2011 9:00:35 PM |

Do you eat each little seed whole, or suck the juicy part off and spit the seed out? 11/10/2011 3:51:55 PM |

chew them and eat them.
the seeds contain protein, fiber, and good fat.
don't waste them.
if you swallow them whole, i suspect they will come out intact, like many dense seeds do. so if you want to benefit, chew them. i don't see what the problem with chewing them is. not a bad taste, not a bad texture either. 11/10/2011 4:24:36 PM |

i mean, i am just guessing. i don't have braces.
try it out... chew slowly between your molars, and it shouldn't be so bad, i guess. 11/10/2011 10:52:24 PM |

I ate pomegranates back when I had braces and it was fine. Only every once in awhile did a seed get stuck between a wire and that's what floss is for. 11/11/2011 8:17:11 AM |

Braces never kept me from eating anything.
Also...why would you spit out the seeds?? They are the most delicious part! 11/11/2011 8:38:27 AM |

Break them apart under water and the pith will automatically separate itself from the seeds
