There will be big NC State tailgate before the football game Saturday with the Wolfpack Club and Boston area alumni. If any of you will be in the area you should stop on by.

From the Boston NCSU Alumni Club:

Quote :
"11/12/11 NC State at BC Football
WHAT: Tailgate with fellow NC State Alumni before we head to BC to watch us win! Unfortunately due to BC rules, we can’t do a traditional tailgate and instead will meet at a local bar. I wish we could do a regular tailgate, but rules are rules and this is one we can’t break!
WHEN: Saturday November 12th Kick-off at 12:30pm, but we’ll start gathering at 9:30am! We’ll be meeting about a 15 – 20 minute walk from the stadium.
WHERE: Cityside Bar and Grill
http://www.citysidebar.com/
1960 Beacon Street
Brighton MA 02135
617-566-1002"

I need to double check with her...I live around the corner from Cityside and I'm pretty sure they don't open until 10:30, but we'll see.

It is a Jesuit school, so I'm assuming drinking isn't allowed on campus when not for religious purposes.

I've been to a couple games and tailgating space is limited even for BC fans. Tailgating spots can go for $500+. It's pretty insane. Plus, the lots are only open to season ticket holders, which means visitors are screwed.

Slave Famous won't shell out $50 for BC tix, $100 for gas money and $120 for 2 nights hotel fee unless he has the chance to spend $3,000 on a pair of postseason baseball tickets

This was the bar at 9:30 in the morning...it is hard to tell because of the light but those are all pack fans

This shot was taken just after kickoff...even the student section was mostly empty

But as expected, the NCSU fans showed up in full force:

Our boys:

Our only touchdown:
