110k miles blue interior aftermarket cd player and speakers 5 speed manual clean title variable throttle knob on the dash
transmission is missing 3rd gear, engine is dry as a bone, no leaks - it runs fine, but third gear is gone (just skip it) and the clutch is a little loose...great for in-town driving.
a refurbished transmission is only $300 and a (fairly) simple repair (no special tools, 6 bolts, and a transmission lift) but I don't want to do it myself, as I don't plan on driving this truck.
this truck has sat since i got it, i can't drive a stick, so sitting + cold has caused it to need the injectors to be primed before it will start again, all you need is a wrench...this is common in diesels.

Looking 750 obo
boat is not included

I'd bid 350. But that's it. I'm wondering why it's missing third but no problems with 4th? Odd.

I don't know or care why it is as it is, I got it from family but I don't want to drive it.

$300? LOL

Anyone have a KBB on this? I am lazy, but if some other industrious spirit can post a link, I'd be happy to reconsider my asking price, which is reasonable as is.

maybe to you.
to someone that works in a trade, can do mechanic work, it's gold.
sure, the bids are low here, they always are, but look at WHO is bidding for the real story.
i know at least one of them is the resident tww mechanic...his greasy lowball is further proof he'd love to own this truck...he'd swap the transmission and clutch, paint it, and sell it for >$1,000.
Why? that's what I would do if I had the inclination. My last experience with doing my own car work was a great success, I rebuilt an engine from a camry that had 284k miles on it, BUT a tree smashed it flat as a pancake the week after I fixed it. I loved that car, and would gladly fix one again. I have nothing invested in the truck, it works already should I really* need to go somewhere (zombies?) and I walk to work so I just don't care about fixing it like I did my camry. I also don't want to be the 'the guy with the truck' to my circle of friends if you know what I mean.

Well, quityer bitching and lame ass justifications of your faggotry and go sell it on craigslist, where you'll undoubtedly be able to find some veggie oil greenie people to buy it for your asking price.

it's on craigslist also

I'm also open to barters...I am interested in rack mount audio gear, instruments, firewire devices, drums, cello, midi keyboards, a 5 string bass, guitar effects, stuff like that...I don't want or need anything like furniture, carpentry tools, etc.

thanks for looking

the guy with the shotgun and cash came by today and likes it
if no one else bids higher (shotgun is NICE so around a bid of $500) it is going to him.
I was planning on finalizing sale tuesday, as I have the time off to go to the dmv etc. so if you've been holding off, now's the time to say something.

Transmission blew up on the guy that bought it.

Ok 1981 Nissan 720 pickup with the sd22 2.2 Nissan diesel motor, 112000 miles motor runs good starts everytime. Transmission is bad however. I've already pulled it out ad have all the parts still. I have a brand new clutch and rear main seal in the box I can sell with it if not I'm returning them. Paint is a little ugly but with some work this would be a killer gas saver, title in hand ready to go now! Call me at 9196014044 with any questions- Travis

damn that sucks
I originally agreed to sell it for $250 + an old* shotgun
I put a $100 battery in it to get it running, sold the tow hitch I used to get it here, and ended up with an adjusted $190 + shotgun for the truck, which he drove home from here.
I feel for his situation, but I didn't trick him or anything.
