Sometimes you get fooled, though, especially with cheaper chicken. A piece can have a bump or air bubble where you think there's meat in there, but its just empty space, so all you taste is the slimy viscous mush. Never accuse me of not eating fried chicken aggressively enough again.

leftovers have about 2-3 day period for me. Chili is great, so is chicken potpie surprisingly.
