Making homemade ice cream, whipped cream, and clams in a cream sauce so I'm going to be needing a lot. Fuck all those little half-pint containers they sell everywhere, where's the big shit?

[Edited on November 23, 2011 at 1:46 PM. Reason : half-pint]

Costco, Sam's Club, etc. Or go directly to Maple View Farm and get some from them in bulk: http://www.mapleviewfarm.com/

I've never used cream to make ice cream. Just milk, sweetened condensed milk, and cool whip.

mmmmm maple view

That was one of the few good things about when I lived in Carrboro. Made the hippies a little easier to deal with.

^^^ Not that I know of. Pretty positive they're the closest dairy that sells to the public around here. Guess you could go knocking on the door of the Food Sciences department and see if they would sell you some

that's not real ice cream.

while you are at it, why don't you use a milk substitute, like coffee-mate or something.
