Great job to the OP!!!

My wife put up our tree a week ago because we celebrated Christmas with her folks on Thanksgiving. Everything is brand new and not that great because when we moved from either Hawaii to CT or from CT to VA, the box that had ALL of our ornaments (personalized porcelain ones you can buy at the mall every year, ones when we were kids, etc.) disappeared. Additionally, when we went to the store (Target) to pick one out, I had to stop mid-shopping and return to the car because of my back problems. She got plastic globe ornaments that have no red, green, and white. She doesn't like them, and I let her tell me that before I agreed with her.

I think next year we are going to do a little better.

We're getting ours tomorrow. And we always get <5' tree. We'll get a proper tree next year since the little guy might be appreciating Christmas then, but this year another <5' for <$20

Also getting a live wreath for the front and back door.

For all you that are still looking to purchase a christmas tree and want to help a fellow wolfwebber out buy one of mine!
I am selling christmas trees that I grew in the mountains of NC (Allegheny county, near sparta) at my church.
3331 Blue Ridge road
raleigh nc
A portion of the proceeds of each sale goes to the outreach (charity) budget of the church. We are open from noon to dark tomorrow and during the daylight during the week. Next weekend someone will be there during daylight hours. So come on out and help a t-dubber and people in need while also getting a locally grown tree!

I'm allergic to real trees. It only takes an hour or two in a house with one for me to start having problems.

I'm allergic to the oleoresins produced by conifers (Christmas trees). In a closed environment, like a house, it takes me just a few hours to start experiencing symptoms.

I'll put the tree up one day this week. Until then, here's the 700 lights out front:

I think it needs MOAR!

They're not net lights
I agree with you though, and I plan to fix that soon I've got 200 more to put out there.

Damn I need to take a picture of my tree before it's too late. Ours is full of whimsy, y'all. Our family always hung candy canes from the tree and I went a bit overkill this year
