Last Saturday I had a flight from Charlotte back to Boston in the mid-afternoon, but I got to the airport early so I could watch the first half of NCSU/Maryland before boarding. We were getting beat so bad that I couldn't watch anymore and went to my gate earlier than planned.

As I got to the gate, an announcements was made asking for volunteers to give up their seat because they had an oversold flight. I thought this must be a sign that I was meant to stay and watch the rest of the game.

I was given a free upgrade to first class on the next flight out, a $250 voucher to be used on a future flight, and I got to see the greatest comeback in NC State history.

They really do exist.
