if you are into sushi/japanese food, I would definitely recommend Fuse Box. It is in a weird location, inside of another building. It looks really expensive, but it is quite reasonable. I LOVE their food. my favorite in NC so far.

I'd recommend Euginio's four cheese frozen pizza. Thats 5.99 at Krogers. Cheese is good. Sauce is good too! Definitely a buy.

get back to the hotel...i'm still wearing my work clothes + a peacoat...guy in his late 50s gets on in a blazer and jeans with a bucket of ice...guy gets on in gym clothes and one of those bs baseball energy necklaces and steroid pumped arms...what we are wearing is important...

me and the older guy get off the same floor...once we are off the elevator and start walking towards our rooms, roid rager yells "and we have tool #1 and tool #2. fucking wall street faggots."


the older guy doesn't say anything, nor does he look at me. i turn around and the doors have closed to the point where i can't see the guy in the elevator. older guy goes to his room where it looks like his wife and grandkids are waiting on him.


I need one of those energy necklaces if it helps me grow the balls to yell at strangers as the elevator doors close and i'm whisked away to the safety of my floor feeling some sort of shitty self-fullfillment. maybe the 1% struggle is personal to him. maybe he left corporate world and got rich doing something he loved. maybe he's just a douche

leave charlotte while you can, it is a shitty not the most appealing city I have ever lived in.
(but my view may be skewed b/c I lived on Monroe Rd.)

there are 3 kinds of people 1. stupid rich banking/investment guys (only source of revenue, so after 5 pm. the city basically shuts off) 2. really old people (they don't go downtown after 5 either) 3. and EXTREMELY ghetto people or all races .... very very ghetto, and they are the only ones downtown, they have no money... so they haunt dance clubs hounding people for money/ trying to hit on drunk people.

I guess that makes a 4rth person, but that is more of the late late night crowd..... underage girls in clubs (when I was 16 I pretended to be in college to get into bars, they never check because charlotte does not have many of age women who are in one piece.)
