One of the kids I use to keep had an uncle who hollowed out a book for him as a secret hiding spot. His uncle had glued the pages together in order to do it. I bet you can find an online how to for hollowing out a book to get an idea of how you might could do this.

I think it can be done without glueing individual pages together. I feel like you'd want the covers glued, but just clamping them after this is done should keep the carvable.

The only thing I know about macklemore is that his music and lyrics suck. Didn't feel the need to justify that with some other bullshit.
