those are some dumb looking shoes, since people were stabbed over them, and even killed in the 80's, I was thinking that those have to be some sweet shoes. They are cool, and very nice too wear, but really? $180, lines starting at 4am, possible jail time, and hostile crowds?? soooo not worth it. But I don't play basketball either ... so

I can't help but to wonder if they "had to" break into the car or if they just saw two content children sitting in the car, got pissy about it, and saw it as a good excuse to bust someone's window out and arrest them. The news report said one of the children was five (hardly a toddler). Don't five year olds know how to unlock the doors of a car? Not saying it wasn't terrible parenting, but I wonder if it was really necessary or if they were rescued from watching Shrek 3 or something.
